Drinking three or more cups of tea a day is as good for you as drinking plenty of water and may even have extra health benefits, say researchers.

I agree with Olga.... tea can most definitely never replace water but if you’re looking for a super-healthy tea, I have a recipe.
Boil a glassful of water with an inch of crushed ginger. Add a few crushed cardamom pods, a few cloves, a few crushed black peppercorns and a hint of tea for a liquorish color.
Bring the concoction to a boil and sieve into a saucer and add a dollop of honey. In case of cold just add crushed garlic to the mix and viola!!! You have yourself what my mother calls a ”beauty sip”!

While I do agree with many of the claims made by researchers - I am not sure tea can replace water. Besides, who sponsored this research? Don’t get me wrong tea IS healthy - especially when you drink the way The British and Indians do :) -minus of course the sugar. But, water is the essence of life -itself.
By the way: Is a marketer behind this *independent research* ?
Anyhow, Tea helps is the short answer -> read the long answer below. And, before I forget: don’t quit water. Its not a replacement.
cheers
